Anna is incredible!!
When I first saw Anna's work I was obsessed and knew I wanted to have her apart of our day. From the initial contact Anna was just the sweetest. So quick to respond and friendly. Planning a destination wedding plus postponing due to Covid made an already stressful situation even more stressful but Anna was there every single step of the way. We met up for engagement photos and Anna immediately felt like a friend. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and really hypes up your love without being weird. During the planning process Anna checked in often and was always willing to help with suggestion on vendors. When it finally came to our big day Anna truly felt like one of our best friends, so much so that we actually invited her to our welcome dinner. Anna showed up to the wedding day full of zest and energy and immediately hit the ground running. And this gal did not stop all day. She was an absolute dream, we had several guest comment on how incredible she was. Anna made sure the stress level was low and the hype was high. She made sure we stuck to the timeline, and when we inevitably didn't she reminded us to just go with the flow. Anna was sure to check on me throughout the day to see if i needed anything (water, snacks, a dance break). She got right in the mix with our friends on the dance floor which i am convinced led to the most epic shots. Anna has an incredible eye for talent and is a wonderful person to work with. We got a huge lot of sneak peeks back just 3 days after our wedding! And every single one is gorgeous! 10 out of 10 experience, highly recommend. - Brittany + Adam

Working with Anna Joy Photography was one of the best wedding decisions I made. My husband and I chose to have a destination wedding, and Anna made me feel at peace about choosing an out of state photographer throughout the whole planning process. Anna was a true JOY to work with for our engagement pictures.
She is organized, responsive, and professional, and also so warm and down-to-earth. I highly recommend the adventure shoot. We did ours at the beach cliffs of Palos Los Verdes and she made them look like a complete dream. Also worth mentioning, she was pregnant and FULLY committed to the process!! When you’re capturing something that should feel intimate, sometimes private and unique, you want someone there who is trustworthy, supportive and comforting. She made us feel completely free to be ourselves. Even through the awkward giggles and smiles, she was beautifully able to capture a picture of us that truly felt like a window into our relationship. It has been months and I am still having a hard time deciding which pictures to print and frame... They are all lovely. Fill out the "contact me", I'll respond with my pricing guide that has all the info and we can chat about what session is the best fit for your family! I want to make sure we are a good fit. I'm not for everyone and that's ok. I'd rather be frank and tell you that recommend someone who'd be a better fit!
02.
Decided on location
Do you want the beach or the mountains? Forest or meadow? I have a long list of locations, but let's find the best one for you or your family!
03.
Sign contract + pay retainer
If we are both in agreement, then I'll send over a contract and invoice for you to go over, sign and pay and get back to me.
04.
Show up for your session
If you want outfit inspiration, then let me know! I can send you a Pinterest board specific to your location and desired outcome for photos!
